Carifiesta Storytime
Our Carifiesta Storytime brings Caribbean folklore to life in libraries, schools, and community centres. Trained volunteers share legends such as Anansi the Spider and La Diablesse through dramatic readings, music, and crafts. Each 45-minute session includes:
- An interactive tale featuring iconic Caribbean characters '
A quick intro on one of the many Caribbean traditions found in our storytelling practices - Hands-on activities—mask-making, drumming rhythms, or themed colouring sheets
- Opportunities to extend learning beyond the session
Educators and librarians can request a free visit; story packs and teacher guides are provided.

Our first Storytime event took place at the Jewsih Public Library. A number of families from different backgrounds joined us for this event. It was well recieved and we will be returning to do another some time in the near future.
Thank you goes out to the Board members and volunteers that helped to make this a success.
